Tamin-Telecom participation in Third Operator depends on project provisions

“So far, Tamin-Telecom has not received any formal offer to take part in Third Operator project,” a Tamin-Telecom authority told Mobna news agency.
“For Tamin-Telecom participation in Third Operator tender it should first be established whether the tender is repeated or other ways are used,” the source said.
Head of Parliament telecommunication committee had announced earlier that Government intended to sign a contract with the Social Security Organization (Tamin) but without a foreign partner.
The winner in last Third Operator tender was Etisalat, and the Social Security Org. as its partner, but the consortium failed to carry out its obligations.
