Spadan’s WiMAX launched this month

“As initial stage it will be issued to 100,000 applicants who are waiting for Radio Communication and Regulations Organization for their turn,” Shahram Setayesh told Mobna news agency.
He said the tests of WiMAX equipment were in their final stages.
The Mobin Net operator has obtained license to operate in 30 provinces, IranCell in 6 provinces, Isfahan Cooperative in Isfahan and Rayaneh Danesh in Golestan Province. They have all won the tender and received license, according to which they have to start operation within 9 months of license date.
WiMAX is digital wireless system which is a good alternative to ADSL network in rural areas.
