Bank phone bill payment notification to MCI takes 24 hours

“Despite the fact that MCI has online link with banks, the notification will take 6 to 24 hours to come through, but as banking system improves so will the timing,” Mohammad-Mehdi Otoufi told Mobna news agency.
“As the bank notification is received the subscriber’s record is updated, but that does not mean that a phone bill is then issued. Phone bills are issued between the fifth and tenth day of every odd month, and if the subscriber pays the bill after the deadline the amount is carried through to the next bill,” he added.
MCI has 16.5 million postpaid sim card subscribers.
