“TCI as a service company covers its expenses only from phone bills,” Davoud Zareian told Mobna news agency.
“TCI is now engaged in a dual relationship; it used to be accountable only to the Government, but after privatization it has to account to the shareholders as well,” he said.
“The buyer of a TCI phone line agrees to certain obligations when purchasing the line, which the company enforces when removing the line for some reason or other,” he added.
Lately, TCI deals with indebted subscribers who have passed the deadline and subsequent memoranda by deactivation any other phone line that the subscriber may own, the practice which has raised objection by the Administrative Justice Court.
