“Standards approval of IT products is a continuous process and around 500 products in IT field are yet to be approved by the institute,” Ali Ansari told Mobna news agency.
“Recognizing commodities which should be approved by the institute is the duty of the institute itself but the ICT Ministry usually announces its requirements and priorities in this respect,” he said.
Earlier, the ICT Ministry infrastructure affairs director had announced that the institute’s compilation process usually took a long time and that was too long for quick changes that occur in information technology.
