Internet tariff cut not yet on agenda: Infrastructure Company official

“The cut is not on the company agenda because not all its aspects have been reviewed,” Samad Mo’men Bellah told Mobna news agency.
“It requires thorough analysis of the expenditure, revenue and final price and needs more time,” he said.
“Offering the service at current tariff is possible and cutting it is not economical,” he added.
Internet broadband high tariff has dissuaded many users, and end-users cannot take much benefit from the service either.
Earlier, the authorities had announced the tariff would be cut this year and Infrastructure Company intended to provide the service at lower rate.
The cut in internet tariff is one of Government pledges.
