Data Company ready to offer speedometer server to private sector

“Each ISP or ISDP which thinks of offering high-quality service to users can install one such server on their system and provide the facility to measure speed for internet users,” Saeed Mahdiun said.
“The system has been launched with the aim of creating suitable environment and increasing internet users’ knowledge and also measuring service speed and quality. We had earlier provided the facility to measure internet speed to users with the help of three pilot servers,” he added.
“All pilot servers have been removed from the network and 10 basic servers have been launched and activated instead. On the basis of an agreement between Data Company and Radio Communication and Regulations Organization, these servers will be used as speed and quality measuring references,” he said.
“One server has been installed at an internet provider company, another has been given to Esfehan Telecommunication Company and one server is managed by Data Company which offers services to applicants,” he continued.
