Identity documents are needed for prepaid sim cards buyers: TCI

“All prepaid sim cards owners information should be registered,” ITC public relations manager Davood Zareian said.
“Subscribers in order to sue prank calls can refer to telecommunication audit offices or Mobile Company of Iran,” he continued.
“When the intruder is recognized he will lose ion for the first time will be disabled for a week, for the second time three months and for the third time the intruder subscriber sim card will be disconnected for ever,” Zareian added.
“If prank calls are serious then in addition to three cited steps the case will likely be referred to court,” he reminded.    
“Currently if a subscriber uses sim card without registering identity information is sim card will be disconnected after awhile,” he said.
“In recent three years more than 35 million sim cards have been sold, which shows that technology development process speed is more than circulating its using demeanor,” he added.
