Deadline expiry for sending Third Operator tender documents

“Pars Iratel” and “Iraniaan consortium”, “Iran Telecommunication Company”, “Telecom consortium”, “Taemin Telecom”, “Astan Ghods Razavi”, “Mouj Khavar Technologies” and “Iran Mobin” are the 7 companies that have reached the next phase.
It is also likely that UAEs Etisalat, Malaysias TM and OmanTel companies will take part in the tender.
With only 4 companies taking part in the previous Second Operator tender( the winner was Irancell with MTN from South Africa), it seems unlikely that Radio Communication and Regulations Organization will extend the deadline.
According to Teyf Research Group, some Iranian companies have formed into consortiums in order to qualify for the tender.
On the basis of Third Operator tender schedule, RCRO will announce its assessments in 5 days time.
