MCI GPRS service activation is free of charge

GPRS service fee for per kilobyte data is 14.8 rial during day and during night and holidays is 4 rial per kilobyte.
So far more than 130,000 subscribers have registered for GPRS service.
GPRS service features are different in different mobile sets. Some models can support call and internet services simultaneously.
Also some mobile sets can support call service and internet service separately and mode switching is manual.    
In other mode user can monitor one service while using another service.
Currently most mobile phones feature GPRS service.
