Parliament’s Industry and Mines Commission members not keen on telecom committee membership

“The Telecom Committee consists of five members and will start in the current week.” said Ali Motahhari to Mobna news agency
He said that lack of academic qualifications in telecommunications and irrelevant job experiences prior to parliament membership to the proposed position are among the main reasons for the telecom committee to be formed at such a late stage.
“The reason for Telecom Committee formation has been to oversee the country’s telecommunication activities and to monitor services given to such customers.” he added.
He said that some of the country’s telecommunication systems are old, which the member of the committee hopes will be brought up to date.
He added that changes in tariffs were among other tasks the committee was scheduled to perform.
