Mobile user id, password announced for bill payment: official

“MCI subscribers, by entering their user ids and passwords, may pay their mobile phone bills through automated teller machine, internet, and bank branches across the country,” Irans MCI official in charge of subscribers, Alireza Asghar-Nezhad told Mobna news agency.
He said such user ids and passwords which start with letters P and G have already been sent to subscribers via sms.
He added that subscribers may receive their ids and passwords by logging on to MCI website and entering their 10-digit postal codes.
The service is for postpaid sim card owners only, which they could use by logging to www.mci.ir and ask for services such as full call transcripts and activation or deactivation of sim cards.
MCI’s top official Mohammad Mehdi Otoufi said that subscribers should first establish their identity by completing a form before asking for their user ids and passwords.
