Most smuggled mobiles imported from Iraq and Dubai

“With the increase in import of illegal mobile sets, authorized agents feel unable to continue their business,” Pedram Elikayee told Mobna news agency
“The smugglers’ share of the market is now 95%, and if the practice continues authorized companies will collapse completely,” he said. 
“The 25% import tariff on mobile sets with 3% value-added tax is the main reason for current smuggling and the low activity of authorized importers,” he added.
Namdaran Ertebatat Hamrah currently imports Chinese NMC mobiles with official warrantee. The company has also recently begun importing Porsche mobile sets.
