MCI-Second Operator interconnection grew 96 percent by late March 2009

The increase in both operators’ subscribers has increased the common interconnections and has led to TCI revenue and expenditure growth.
Because of increase in Second Operator subscribers and more calls to the operator, TCI’ revenue from the activity grew 83 percent last year and reached 1.452 billion rials.
MCI has over 31.5 million subscribers and IranCell has released some 14 million sim cards.
