Workgroup determines cyberspace crimes

The session approved a cyberspace regulation in 12 sections.
”The committee duties are protecting citizens’ privacy, preventing immoral and financial crimes and supporting users’ security in virtual space,” the chief public prosecutor said.  
”The committee will review cyber crimes such as unauthorized access to computer and telecommunication data, computer espionage, computer defamation, destruction of data and computer and telecommunication systems,” Ayatollah Dorri Najafabadi said.
