Launch of Internet Management and Development Center

It is launched by Data Company and modeled on successful foreign centers such as South Korean Internet Development Center (NIDA) and Japanese Network Information Center (JPNIC).
Research, development and renovation in the field of information technology, offering figures and indices and supporting internet and IT developments are among the project’s other goals.
Internet penetration rate in Iran is now over 28 percent.
