High speed internet infrastructure capacity to redouble

A Metro Ethernet is a computer network based on the Ethernet standard and which covers a metropolitan area. It is commonly used as a metropolitan access network to connect subscribers and businesses to a Wide Area Network, such as the Internet.
This network is able to offer data service to all inter provincial users who are individuals and companies such as internet providers and organizations.
“Provincial Metro Ethernet network has been designed for 1.5 million high speed ports so far. The increasing of the speed is in agenda as Iran need and applying activity to develop this network has been started,” Saber Feizi told Iran’s mobile news agency (MOBNA).
“Applying activity to increase provincial Metro Ethernet capacity to three million ports has been started in some provinces. This amount will supply people demands by next two years,” he said. 
“High speed internet development infrastructures will be redoubled. Provincial Metro Ethernet network includes all high speed ports and supply provinces data networks needs,” he added.
Provincial Metro Ethernet network will be a proper infrastructure for high speed ports.
