RCRO to deal with offending operators

“It is unlikely that mobile phone operator would issue more sim cards than their quota but if so they would be dealt with according to their license agreement,” Mohammad Karampour told Mobna news agency.
He said his organization would carefully monitor the number of sim cards distributed by each operator.
There had been reports in the press quoting Information and Communication Technology Minister that the country’s mobile phone operators had in total issued some 53 million sim cards.
