UPU Secretary praises Iranian Post Office

This follows Iranian Post Office’s humanitarian aid towards reconstruction of part of damaged Haitian post office.
The Iranian Post Office has donated $50,000 from its quality of service fund (QSF) at UTU towards reconstruction of Haiti’s post office branches and equipment damaged in recent earthquake.
The action by the Iranian Post office has prompted South Korean post office to donate $100,000 towards that purpose.
QSF is a fund established by industrial countries to which they allocate a percentage of fees they pay to developing countries towards terminal rights for the improvement of their services and each developing country could benefit from it within UTU frameworks.
