Date of Parliament report on TCI affairs undetermined

The committee’s initial deadline was six months, which was extended by another six months, but no report is out yet.
The committee is investigating issues such as amount of fund available to TCI directors, Telecom Research Center activities, landline and mobile phone cost prices, TCI tenders and auctions in the past four years, and payments to TCI contractors.
Other issues include: TCI’s raising of mobile phone sms tariffs without prior authorization, delay in production of equipment for six million mobile phone lines, lack of transparency in TCI financial documents, and transfer of TCI and its subsidiaries’ assets after TCI privatization.
