MCI first in region with 37 million subscribers

At the ceremony, attended by the Telecommunication Company of Iran managing director, Mobile Company of Iran board of directors and few telecom officials, the winners of the Samen Festival received their prizes.
MCI managing director Sadoughi outlined Samen Festival goals and announced that MCI subscribers had passed the 37-million mark, beating TurkCell and becoming first among 50 mobile phone operators in the region.
“MCI has subscribers in 1,102 cities and 36,000 villages and covers 46,000km of country’s highways and roads,” he said.
