Sharp’s LED and LCD TV production line inaugurated

“Sharp Company’s decision to establish this production line is an indication that the company feels committed to the Iranian market, and above all, Iranian consumers,” Maadiran managing director Ami-Masood Amiri announced.
“The company’s TV production this year has been 950,000 sets which it hopes to increase to 1.3 million in the next Iranian year,” he added.
Maadiran has started production of three Sharp models – ۳۲ and 45-inch LCD and 40-inch LED – which will increase to seven models in the next nine month.
“All Sharp TV sets manufactured by Maadiran are of highest panel standard,” he added.
Amiri urged Industries and Mines Ministry to stand by Iranian electronics industries against the biggest force that threatens the industry – smuggling – which grows by the day and has lowered industries’ profitability, investment in new technologies, employment and expansion of such production lines resulting fewer new models.
