Karaj City’s Police-110 equipped with consultancy service hotline

“We receive some 20 such calls daily and if the scheme is successful it will be spread countrywide,” Police Commissionaire Mehdi Barandi told Mobna news agency at the first gathering aimed at reviewing child and adolescent anxiety.
“The calls are answered by psychologists who would then direct the caller to a trained consultant,” he added.
He emphasized that there should be resident consultants at all police stations since 70% of such calls were resolved amicably.
