TCI not out to eliminate competitors

“High investments, security characteristics, effectiveness on bourse and its all embracing effects on the public has made the company so important with the public,” Saber Feizi said at the launching ceremony of 100 telecom projects in the Fars Province to mark the Islamic Revolution anniversary.
“A privatized TCI will attract more subscribers due to better services as well as double income to the Government in the current year,” he added.
On the sixth day of the Fajr Festival, 100 telecommunication projects worth 120 billion rials including 30 data and 10 fiber optic projects, 23 rural ICT bureaus and 37 telecommunication projects have been inaugurated in the province.
