Ali Motahhari’s resignation from investigation committee leadership accepted

“The acceptance comes after yesterday’s meeting of the industries and mines committee members to discuss Motahhari’s reason for the resignation which he had cited as too much workload,” Sharif Hosseini told Mobna news agency.
He indicated, however, that Motahhari would stay on the committee and resume his work as ordinary member. Ghazipour has since been elected to replace Motahhari.
“The investigation committee is in its final stages of its task and a final report would be issued in two months’ time,” Sharif Hosseini added.
