Ghassedak and Amin sim cards awaiting license

“All steps for receiving the license have been taken but we have so far been unable to receive it,” Mohammad-Mehdi Ottoufi told Mobna news agency.
The sim cards were first introduced at Iran Telecom Exhibition last summer and visitors were told they would be available after the exhibition.
However, the company has announced they would not be introduced just yet.
Ghassedak sim card is designed for transmission of sms messages.
Amin sim card, however, is for GSM/GPRS/GPS purposes which is lodged inside a box and fixed to the vehicle.
MCI had previously announced that the Amin sim card tariff was the same as ordinary sim cards with minimum annual rate of 200,000 rials.
