Provincial telecom companies’ charter approved – by TCI board

Telecommunication Company of Iran public relations office announced.
“The board of directors is comprised of three active and two non-active members and the chairman of the board’s decisions must be endorsed by the TCI board of directors,” Davoud Zareian told Mobna news agency.
“Such companies in future will act under the Trade Law,” he added.
The Government at various stages recently sold the management part of the TCI to the private sector culminating in the sale of 50% TCI shares plus one.
TCI ownership has been changed from real entity to legal entity and its board members have also changed.
