Access to sms messages not possible without court injunction

“It is technically possible to inspect sms messages provided that it is by court injunction,” Davoud Zareian told Mobna news agency with reference to the latest Police Commissionaire comment that they could check on sms messages if necessary.
The Commissionaire had recently said that they had control over citizens’ emails and sms messages and no anti-proxy software could prevent them from conducting their missions.
According to the article 25 of the Constitution, any inspection of letters, phone calls and telegrams is prohibited and subject to prosecution.
