Baneh and Marivan country’s gateway to TV set smugglers

“At present, 20% of country’s LCD TVs are imported through illegal channels and they are the most smuggled among such devices,” Ebrahim Dorosti told Mobna news agency.
“Such TV sets have no valid after-sale warranties and for that reason the consumer is the ultimate loser since he/she has to pay a high price for repair,” he added.
He believed the import tariff on LCD TV should be cut so that authorized importers could compete with smugglers otherwise it would go the way of mobile phone.
