Competition between TCI block share applicants not convincing

“According to the committee, the dismissal of Kavir Yazd Consortium and replacing Mehr Eghtesad Iranian Institute in the TCI share tender are among other issues which should have been reviewed in the report,” Ali Motahhari told Mobna news agency.
“The evaluation of the Information and Communication Technology Ministry of TCI share assignment has been positive,” Motahhari said.
“The article 44 committee believes privatization items should be clear, transparent and defendable and precise explanations should be given on security matters,” he added.
“The Competition Council should review competition among TCI applicants,” he said.
Although the biggest trade in the bourse’s history has occurred in TCI block share trade, experts have criticized the tender process since the buyer belongs to a government organization.
