Privatization commission to submit TCI privatization report in two weeks’ time

“The draft report, devoted mostly to TCI privatization procedure, is in its final stages,” Hamid-Reza FouladGar told Mobna news agency.
“It had been planned that the report would be submitted by Oct 22, but it was postponed due to Parliament recess. All the problems, challenges and obstacles afflicting the ministries active in the privatization procedure have been outlined in the report,” he said.
“The activity chart of the ministries active in privatization procedure have been studied. Information and Communication Technology, Energy, Industries and Mines and Oil ministries are among such ministries,” he added.
He had announced earlier that the TCI share assignment to Tose’eh Etemad Mobin Consortium would be reviewed.
۵۰% plus one TCI shares were assigned to Tose’eh Etemad Mobin Consortium on bourse on Sep 27.
Although the assignment was hailed as the biggest trade in Iran bourse history, it has brought many criticisms because the consortium is affiliated to a government organization.
