Negotiation with famous foreign brands for common mobile production abandoned

“Bearing in mind that most of the mobile market has been dominated by smuggled sets, mobile manufacturers have little to do,” Ebrahim Motale’ told Mobna news agency.
“Regarding customers’ reluctance to purchase domestic-made mobile sets, negotiation with foreign brands to produce a common mobile set has ceased,” Hamid-Reza Monji, managing director of Emad Semiconductors a Hyundai mobile sets distributor in Iran said.
The news was confirmed by Mahmoud Layali, an official at Industries and Mines Ministry.
