Buildings given 10-digit postal codes

“Iran postal network, along with major international changes in postal services, has undergone necessary improvements and growth. Delivery of over one billion consignments last year and over three million consignments daily this year shows such a growth,” Mohammad-Hasan Mohebian Araghi said.
“There are around 29,000 postal connection spots and over 5,000 postal delivery paths. We also use the private sector to create a competitive atmosphere,” he added.   
“At present, 5 major companies are cooperating with the Post Office and foreign post office representatives are present in Iran,” he added.
“The real competition atmosphere will be created when Second Post Operator license framework has been prepared,” he said.
He also referred to postal agreements between Iran and 17 neighboring countries to develop international cooperation.
“Launching Iran-Europe landline post last year has connected 11 countries and saved 50% on costs,” he said.
