Postal services at 2,536 rural bureaus

Increasing postal consignments from 540 million in 2004 to 1,004 million in 2008 and improving postal unit area coverage from 173 sq kilometers in 2004 to 102 sq kilometers in 2008 were among Post Office achievements.
Improving by 100 sq kilometers postal unit area coverage from 173 sq kilometers and increasing urban ICT bureaus to at least 2,500 locations and rural ICT bureaus to at least 10,000 locations are among the goals of the Fourth Economic Development Plan.
