Five RCRO monitoring offices launched by March 2010

“The launch of such offices has been put on agenda in line with comprehensive centers for monitoring project and managing spectrum sites countrywide,” RCRO’s implementation and monitoring regulations general manager, Hasan Rezvani, told Mobna news agency.   
“Tabriz Province center is the fourth spectrum center launched with 12 billion rials fund as RCRO provincial unit. The center covers mobile phone, landline and information technology operators who monitor sectors in neighboring provinces such as west Azerbaijan, Zanjan and Ardebil,” he said.
“We are equipping these offices in order to launch offices for spectrum management and monitoring operators’ operations in 5 other provinces,” he added.
“Mobile phone, landline and internet operators monitoring project is performed provincially. In this sector, monitoring spectrum, monitoring mobile phone and landline operators, frequency interference and monitoring information technology license owners operation are performed,” he continued.  
RCRO’s north-western region agency office was inaugurated in Tabriz city last week.
Developing RCRO activities in metropolitan cities, regarding the necessity for making regional and urban offices on the basis of monitoring comprehensive project has been among the goals for implementing the project.
