Intelligent National ID card project requires huge fund

“The project is particularly complicated and requires huge fund and time,” Abdolmajid Riazi told Mobna news agency.
He said, however, that there have been discussions between his ministry and National Organization for Civil Registration authorities and some initial steps have been taken in that regard.
Intelligent National ID has many features and is quite fool-proof.
Authorities at NOCR had earlier announced that the card would replace the existing cards when they passed their validity.
The new card may be used for vouchers and, above all, at elections.
