In 2006, UAE with over $103m export ranked first among mobile set exporter countries to Iran.
In the first five months of this year (Iranian) mobile set import to Iran has reached $8m.
In 2006, Germany and Finland ranked 2nd and 3rd in mobile set export to Iran, but South Korea and China in the last two years and the first five months of current year have replaced Germany and Finland in mobile export to Iran.
It is worth noting that UAE has no mobile manufacturing unit but acts as a re-exporting gateway.
