“Some retailers take advantage of customers’ lack of knowledge of price cuts imposed for the duration of Eid al-Ghadir to Jan 31 and sell them at original price,” the report said.
“The card is sold 30 to 60 thousand rials above its official price of 120,000 rials,” the report added.
The company spokesman, Abbasali Abolfazli, stressed that such retailers have no reason to sell the card above its set price, and urged the public to notify the company by contacting 09990 and quoting the offending telecom service bureau’s code any instances of overcharge.
