End of Second Operator’s mms monopoly

Lotfollah Sabouhi told Irans mobile news agency (Mobna) that the two-year monopoly of Second Operator has ended with respect to its license terms.
He said MTN-IranCell’s two-year protection phase of has expired.
He said the operator had been licensed to provide GPRS since its formation but the fact that it delayed for such a long time can only be attributed to its internal affairs.
Mobile Company of Iran has since last week embarked on widespread advertisement for its own mms.
For some reason, however, the service has not been offered so far by any mobile phone operator.
