Price packages` opening likely to have two processes: 3rd operator tender manager

“According to scheduled program third operator tender C packages (price) will be opened on 22 December and afterward the tender winner will be determined,” Saeed Mahdiun told Irans mobile news agency (Mobna).
“It is predicted in this stage that eligible consortiums proposed prices are similar, so this process likely will have two stages,” he continued.
“According to government decree highest proposed price should have five percent difference with second price and if this result does not come out then the participant have to offer again,” Mahdiun said.
“According to this decree those participants who gained minimum grate in opening A and B packages stage (studying participants  technical-commerce conditions) can participate in price determination stage,” he added. 
It should be said that all five consortiums which had provided their proposition packages to RCRO went to price packages opening stage.
These consortiums are Iran Zain consortium compromises of IRIB Retirement Fund, Teachers’ Fund and Zain Co., Omrantel consortium compromises of Omantel company and Mobin Iran company, Tamin Etisalat Consortium compromises of Tamin and Etisalat companies, Fanavari Moaj Consortium compromises of Saba holding, Fanavari Mouj and Indocel companies and also Abi-Iratel consortium compromises of Pars Iratel and Bharatia companies.
According to tender conditions and announced criteria, in this stage and in order to go to next stage gaining 70 grates out of 100 grates was necessary.
Third operator should attract 17 million subscribers in 15 years.
