Mobile handset importers association inauguration by early next year

“The reorganization will take place in order to remove smuggled handsets from the market and prepare grounds for authorized importers to conduct their trades,” Abdolrahman Moasher told Irans mobile news agency (Mobna).
“A closer coordination amongst authorized importers and establishment of uniform prices and after-sale services are the main target of such association,” he said.
The association will also try to put stop to profiteers who import counterfeit handsets and sell them as original with fake warranties.
He said the Association’s formation is now in its registration stage.
