MCI GPRS service to be launched in four other provinces: MCI insider

“Next week mobile phone users in these provinces can use this service,” the MCI insider who wanted to be unknown told Irans mobile news agency (Mobna).
“First operator in first phase of launching GPRS service tends to offer this service in eight provinces and the plan will be implemented in four provinces in coming week,” he added.
“Mobile Company of Iran internet service is currently offered to 150,000 mobile phone users in Tehran and Karaj. All remaining provinces networks are solving their technical problems and it is predicted that by the end of this Iranian year (March 2009) all MCI subscribers use the benefits of GPRS service,” he said.
Currently MCI GPRS service in Tehran and Karaj is offered from 11:00 to 08:00 with 4 rial fee and it is planned to be round the clock by next month in these two cities.
