Telecommunication Company pays 200 billion rials annually to government as numbering fee

 Numbering right is a right for using dedicated numbering capacities.
“According to TCI license, numbering right for each mobile phone line is 2,000 rials (20 cent). So TCI has to pay the sum annually for usage right of each line to government,” TCI managing director Saber Feizi told Iran mobile news agency (Mobna).
“Annual fee for using each landline number is 1,000 rials (10 cent),” he said.
“Numbering right fee is related to all kinds of telephone line and different kinds of mobile phone sim cards whether prepaid, postpaid or semi postpaid,” he said.
According to Radio Communication and Regulation Organization commission decree, annual right to reserve number for each mobile phone line and landline is 30 percent of these amounts.
