Mobile set import tariff is likely to decrease: an informed source

Commerce ministrys Article One commission is responsible in setting commodities import tariffs.
“It has been a while that some of medias were criticizing 25 percent tariff of mobile set import and wanted it to be decreased. So good news is that it is going to materialize,” one who wanted to be unknown said.
“It is most likely that mobile set import tariff will decrease from 25 percent and will reach to 15 – ۲۰ percent. If so the smuggling rate will decrease,” he added.
“Article One commission which is in Trade Promotion Organization of Iran can take first step to decrease tariff,” he said.
