MCI has more subscribers that Malaysia`s population: company official

“MCI has around 28 million subscribers countrywide which is more that the population of Malaysia, Venezuela and Peru,” Siamak Totounchi Afshar said.
“Let’s use (the offered services) properly,” he said adding that in order for MCI services to be available to all its subscribers across the country it has installed necessary equipments in every location in the country.
He said many people believe MCI equipments are confined to BTS antennas but in fact a major part of MCI workload is done through mobile switching centers (MSC), transits, STP (Signal Transfer Point) systems, sms centers and the IN network.
