۰۹۱۲ sim card price reduction in Tehran mobile market

Mohammad Hussein Ahmadi, a retailer in north Tehran said the market for Mobile Company of Iran’s prepaid sim card has been faced with low demand in most parts of Tehran leading to a fall in the price.

He said, however, that the lower price would boost trading in the following days.
He announced current Tehran market sim card prices as follows:
New postpaid sim cards for codes 09122, 09123, 09124, 09125, 09126, 09127 and 09128 are purchased at 5.5, 4.5, 3.5, 3.5, 3.2, 3.1 and 2.8 million rials respectively and sold 100,000-150,000 rials higher.
However, second-hand postpaid sim cards for codes 09122, 09123, 09124, 09125, 09126, 09127 and 09128 are purchased at 5.8, 4, 3.35, 2.6, 2.4, 2.4 and 2.8 million rials respectively.
MCI has around 28 million subscribers.
