ITMC to participate in third countrywide mobile phone operator tender

Ebrahim Motale said they are in negotiation with various consortia and determined to participate in the tender.
He said they will announce their foreign partner after they have studied the situation but expected the tender will be tough with the presence of three mobile phone operators.
He hoped with the impending privatization of the first countrywide operator (MCI) competition among operators will be fairer and more logical.
So far 13 companies have obtained the tender documents of which 3 are foreign.
