Mobile Company of Iran has more than 28 million subscribers: MCI official

“Currently MCI has 16.5 million postpaid sim cards subscribers and 11.5 million prepaid sim cards subscribers,” MCI public relation manager Abas-ali Abolfazli told Mobna news agency.
“Also MCI network coverage in country roads is more than 36,700 kilometers,” he said.
Iran Mobile phone penetration rate is 55 percent and about 40 million are subscribers of first operator (MCI), second operator Irancell, and private operators Taliya, Espadan and Kish.
