Import mobile sets better to receive commodity code: an expert

“Giving code on commodity is up to commerce ministry and it should cooperate with the standard organization,” a university professor Mohammad Tohidi told Mobna news agency.
“Standard organization should concentrate on domestic made products but it should not forget import commodities,” he said.
“This organization can cooperate with commerce and mines and industries ministries in order to give standard mark application certification to all commodities that should have compulsory standard,” he added.
“In this national program all commodities which are liable of standard law should have Iran code,” Tohidi said.
Import commodities should be liable of Iran code, so commerce ministry, custom, consumer protection organization, commodity and currency anti smuggling organization should cooperate with standard organization,” he added.
