High turnout in tenth catchy number auction: MCI director

“There were 2,265 offers this time showing substantially more than on previous auction,” Abolfazl Alishahi told Mobna news agency.
He attributed the high response to the long time-lapse with the previous auction.
He said all catchy numbers with different codes were on offer but code ‘۱’ received higher reception.
Code “1” refers to the first group of sim card number sold to people.
He added that in every auction two thousand such numbers are on offer where some receive many while others receive none at all.
He said the result of the option will be announced in a few days time.
In every auction on average 30 per cent of numbers receive offers and the rest either none or receive offers below their base price.
